Horses are a constant feature of Lucy’s life and the horse human connection is explored in depth throughout Lucy’s work.  It’s a relationship of power, trust and empathy stretching back to the dawn of human civilisation and carried through right up to today. There is an emphasis on liberty and horses are frequently photographed free from restraint and most often without tack.
